Situated in Rashdhoo Atoll in North Ari Atoll, just 20 minutes by seaplane from Male International Airport, enjoy the breathtaking views of emerald Maldivian islands and reefs before you reach the island which is known for its natural beauty and is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Veligandu Island Resort consists of 74 bungalows which are split into four categories, all are decorated in tropical decor and are modernly equipped. The island is circled by pure white sandy beaches which are perfect for sunbathing or you can swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters, the house reef is excellent for snorkelling and diving trips can also be arranged. There is a wide range of activities for you to choose from during the day. In the evening, the main restaurant offers something for everyone and often has themed buffet evenings such as Maldivian night which is a great cultural experience and an opportunity for you to sample local specialities.
