Shandrani Resort and Spa, the name meaning "Goddess of the Moon", is a fully inclusive resort. It is ideally located in Blue Bay on the south-east coast of Mauritius, only 6 kms from the airport. The hotel offers an informal atmosphere and yet exudes elegance and style, offering a mix of exceptional accommodation and an outstanding selection of restaurants, sports and entertainment. There are three main beaches: the unique 'wild beach' whose waves are not for the faint hearted or the two other beaches which both offer tranquil turquoise lagoons. Shandrani Mauritius features a 9-hole pitch and putt golf course, a sailing club and a wide selection of other water and land sports and not forgetting the La Source Clarins Spa as well as the Bob Marlin Kids club for 3-12 year olds. The spacious and comfortable rooms, none of which are far from the beach are all spread out amidst the lush tropical gardens and all feature either a terrace or a balcony. The resort offers a choice of five restaurants and two bars and nightly entertainment in the form of a local band or show.     Shandrani Mauritius offers guests it very own 9 hole golf course, and is free to use with complimentary lessons included. With the "tee off" just 100 metres away from the beach this course is both stimulating and fun.

    The Shandrani has a miniclub for kids aged 3-12, open from 9am to 9pm. Offering various activities to appeal to your children.

  • Repeat Guests

    Repeat guests receive 5% discount per person per night which is applicable to all past clients who have stayed at Beachcomber Hotel in the past five years.

  • Dress Code

    During the daytime the dress code at all Beachcomber hotels is casual. Beach-wear with discreet covering is acceptable during the day. Sleeveless shirts and bathrobes are not acceptable. For evenings the dress code is elegant casual. The resort requests that guests do not wear collarless t-shirts, shorts or sandals (for men) in the restaurants. Jeans, bathrobes, shorts, jogging trousers or t-shirts are not allowed. Full length trousers and closed shoes are required for gentlemen in the evenings.

  • All Inclusive

    The Shandrani Resort & Spa boasts a 5-star all-inclusive programme. Guests can take advantage of the all-inclusive buffet and a la carte meals at all 5 of the hotel's restaurants, unlimited premium wines and famous spirits brands, beach and pool service, mini bar and room service, unlimited water skiing, one 45-minute Decleor massage per adult per stay, unlimited access to the 9 hole pitch and putt golf course. The Serenity Plus All-Inclusive package also includes Henriot champagne by the glass each evening after 6pm. Enjoy the Beachcomber's interchange facilities available at other Beachcomber resorts on the island, including Le Victoria, Le Cannonier or Le Mauricia, conditions apply. Guests stayin at The Shandrani Resort & Spa from 1st November 2012 will have the in room mini bars included in the Serenity Plus All Inclusive option with soft drinks and beer.

  • Honeymoon

    Guests celebrating their honeymoon will receive a 10% discount per person per night. Valid for travel 04 January - 19 December. Couples will also receive ahalf bottle of champagne and fruits in room on arrival and a gift voucher for use in the honeymoon section of the hotel's boutique. Combinable with Early Booking Special and Repeat Client offer only.

    The Shandrani Mauritius offers several wedding packages, couples can choose from the following. Please call for prices. Classic Package: Includes: the cost of all legal procedures, fees and documentation of getting married in Mauritius; affidavit fees and Supreme Court charges; registrars fees; the services of a dedicated wedding planner in resort; a wedding cake suitable for ten people; bridal bouquet and groom's button hole; hair and make-up for the bride including a trial session; celebration breakfast in bed; a separate room for the bride to change before the ceremony (subject to availability). Luxury Package: This includes all the features of a Classic Package, and also offers the following extras: brides spa treatment including a luxury maincure, pedicure and massge; groom's spa treatment including a body polish and Swedish massage; a bottle of champagne and canapes for the bride and groom after the wedding ceremony; a special four course wedding dinner in a private location for the bride and groom; romantic in room extra treats including chilled champagne , candles, petals on the bed and luxury bubble bath on one night during the stay; pressing and framing of bouquet and button hole; frame congratulations wedding certificate on behalf of the hotel; 50 wedding photographs and photo album.
