With so much to do, it's unlikely you'll feel the need to leave the resort - although complimentary MINI cars are available to borrow for the day, begging you to get out and explore. What's more, there's plenty to see in the surrounding area: visit one of Malaga's many museums, or seek out the ruins of a Moorish castle at the Alcazaba. The hotel is located in the pretty town of Estepona - close to the designer boutiques and glamorous nightlife of Marbella - less than an hour from Malaga airport.

The Ikos Spa by Anne Semonin Paris offers a range of personalised treatments. The serene surroundings include an indoor heated pool, thermal suite and fitness studio. Ikos Andalusia makes an ideal family holiday destination. There's a Kids Club for 4-12 year-olds and Teens Club (in summer) for 13-17 year-olds. There is also a creche available for babies from 4 months to 3 years (this is chargeable and we advise to book in advance). Table tennis, beach volleyball, basketball courts, tennis courts, mountain bikes and non-motorized watersports are all on the cards, too. A gift to parents is the complimentary beach childcare service, where beady-eyed staff take care of your kids for 30 minutes at a time while you enjoy some well-earned downtime.
The list of activities is highly impressive at this resort. Fitness classes include aerobics, yoga, Pilates and Zumba. For water sports enthusiasts there is canoeing, windsurfing and pedalos. At an extra cost, private boat tours can be arranged for an unforgettable experience along the coastline.
